Roger McCumber adds: "The Enlisted promotions - c1962 photo has bugged me ever since you posted it. The Airman to the extreme right is either Mathis Colson or Aubrey Broomfield and I can't decide which. From the date, I think it must be Colson, but my poor, failing memory says it looks like Broomfield. I worked with and was friends with both, but it has been quite a while."
Steve Smith confirms: "The guy on the extreme right in the 505's, is Aubrey Broomfield, mail room clerk. I also saw him again at RAF Croughton, UK, in the mid 70's."
