Captain Marsh came to the 482nd on July 5, 1962, from the 6214th Support Squadron (PACAF) via Taiwan and was reassigned to 340th Bomb Wing (SAC) at Bergstrom AFB, Tx., on Oct 24, 1963; with a 19 week TDY to attend a training course at Indian Head, Md., on Surface Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
"At Bergstrom I was assigned as Plant Assembly Officer and later as Maintenance Supervisor. While there I was in charge of bomb disposal support to the Secret Service while President L. B. Johnson was in the Texas area. I was then assigned Commander of the 27th Munitions Maintenance Sq. Its duties involved supporting a B-58 wing and a Titon Missile wing. I retired from Little Rock AFB on 1 July 1970."
