PRINCETON --- Jesse Elton Worley, 69, of Progressive Church Road, died Sunday at home.
Mr. Worley was born June 29, 1932, in Johnston County and was the son of the late Stephen Arthur and Carrie Patsy Pittman Worley. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Progressive Presbyterian Church and St. Patrick's Masonic Lodge #617.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Krause Worley; a son, Jesse E. Worley Jr. of the home; a daughter, Twila Worley Capps of Rosewood; a sister, Cleo Norris of Princeton; and two grand-daughters.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton. A graveside service with Masonic rites will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Progressive Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Rev Percy Coleman will conduct the service.
