LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. — Cloyd E. Wilson, 76, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He was the Church of God minister and worked at Amax Coal Co. He was an Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce; daughter, Marilyn Shapinsky; two sons, Cloyd "Willie" and James "Jim"; two sisters, May Johnson and Ada Griesmer; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services 2 p.m. Sunday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, burial in Petty Cemetery. Visitation is 1 p.m. to service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. - Cloyd E. Wilson, 76, Lawrenceville, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at IU Med Center in Indianapolis, Ind.
He had been minister in the Church of God for 32 years and also worked at the Amax Coal Co. in Keensburg.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Ferguson) Wilson of Lawrenceville; two son, Cloyd W. "Willie" Wilson of Bridgeport and James L. "Jim" Wilson of Sumner; one daughter, Marilyn J. Wilson Shapinsky of Lawrenceville; two sisters, May Johnson of Union Grove, Wis., and Ada Griesmer of Bridgeport; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Petty Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation through the funeral home.
