Jerry R. Trowbridge, 75, retired United States Air Force and retired Federal Civil Service, passed away Aug. 22, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nev., surrounded by his family. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1971 and began working at Fort Irwin in the Federal Civil Service that same year. He retired from Fort Irwin in 1991. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Barstow Fire Department for many years.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Grace; sons, Robert, Gary, Eddie, and Kurt; daughter, Mary; and numerous grandchildren and great-grand-children.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday Aug. 26, 2006, at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Road with services to follow at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, with services to follow, both at Mead Mortuary, in Barstow, Calif.
