Retired U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Billy Dortch Stith, 59, of 209 A. E. Spruce St., died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Elbert Martin Stith and Nancy Kathleen Summerlin Stith.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. in Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Head and Pam Stith, both of Pikeville; three sons, Phil Evans and William Stith, both of Carbondale, Kan., and Tim Evans of Hookerton; two brothers, Craig Stith of Topeka, Kan., and Evys Stith of Goldsboro; his former wife, Evelyn Blizzard Stith of Pikeville; and 15 grandchildren.
