Donald K. Solliday, 70, of Warrenton, died Dec. 9 at Veterans Hospital in Washington, D.C., due to complications associated with diabetes. He was born June 2, 1937, in Quakertown, Pa., to Herbert and Emma Solliday.
Mr. Solliday was a skilled musician who loved bluegrass and country music. He was a member of the Don Keyser's Country Rhythm Boys Band for 40 years.
Mr. Solliday was predeceased by his parents and a son, Donald Solliday. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Hodgson of Surf City, N.J., and Sally Nestor of Cinnaminson, N.J. Also surviving are brothers Herbert, Aaron, Maynard, Richard, and James, and a sister, Doris.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Columbarium 8 at 1 p.m. Jan. 30.
