Dale F. Sisson, age 62 of Sayre, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Dar-Way Nursing Home, Forksville, PA. Born December 3, 1941 in Barton, NY, he was a son of Ruth (White) Sisson and the late John Raymond Sisson. Dale had been employed as a supervisor for Stroehmann Bakeries, Sayre, PA. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Sayre VFW and the Sayre American Legion.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force, having been Honorably Discharged in 1963.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth (White) Sisson of Florida; a son, Jon "Jack" (Hayley) Sisson of Millerton, PA; a daughter, Terri Sisson of Waverly, NY; three grandchildren a brother, Raymond (Bonnie) Sisson of Delaware a sister, Barbara (Clem) O'Toole of Delaware; and a very special friend and companion, Kay Banfield of Sayre, PA.
Family and friends are invited to call at Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY on Saturday, June 19, 2004 from 1 to 3 p.m. The funeral and committal service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald Rockwell will officiate. Full military honors will be accorded at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
