Mr. George A. Salyers, 64, of Pleasant Gap Road, Ellijay, died Thursday, April 15, 2004.
Mr. Salyers was born May 11, 1939, in Waverly, Ohio, the son of Alvin and Grace Alley Salyers. He was retired from the. U.S. Air Force were he worked as a aircraft mechanic, and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by wife, Ruby G. Salyers; children, Carrie Salyers, Virginia and Mark Salyers, Florida; adopted children, Sandra Almon, Alabama, and Eugene Kelly, Ellijay; sisters, Bobbie Kaser, Indiana and Bonnie Schaub, Ohio.
No services were held.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
