Services for Mr. Rumage will be 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at Sellars Funeral Home with Pastor Cecil Hinton officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rumage, 77, of Norene, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007. He attended Lebanon First Assembly of God, retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked with the FAA and at Texas Instruments.
He was preceded in death by parents, James A. and Zena Rumage; son, Jeffrey Rumage; and first wife, Martha Rumage. Survivors include: wife, Dorothy Rumage; daughters, Terry (Percy) Vick and Dawn Thurston of Alabama; son, Michael Rumage of Georgia; step-daughter, Teresa (Leonard) Ray of Lebanon; step-sons, Joseph, Byrum (Linda) and Timothy (Lisa) O'Guin, all of Norene; brother, Floyd (Lynn) Rumage of Germantown; sisters, Pat Jeffreys of Jackson, Miss. and Jean Pollard of Wartburg, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Byrum, Justin, Tim, Timmy, and Joseph O'Guin, Phillip Hamby, David Jeffreys, Joshua Nelson and Mike and Justin Rumage.
