Dewey E. Robinson, 68, of Birmingham died Monday, Aug. 10, 1998. The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 1998, at Johns-Ridout's Roebuck Chapel with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Mike Jackson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight. Johns-Ridout's Roebuck Chapel will direct.
He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and also from Allstate Insurance. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela C. Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Louise C. Robinson of Birmingham; son, Eddy and his wife, Cheryl Robinson of Dawsonville, Ga.; daughter, Teresa and her husband, Al Slagle of Alpharetta, Ga.; two brothers, Don Robinson of Tupelo, Miss. and Bill Robinson of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Christine Kelley of Birmingham; and grandchild, Bradley Slagle.
The family request memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabeties Foundation.
