OCALA - Fred William Ritzer, 69, an emergency medical technician for Munroe Regional Medical Center, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at his residence. Mr. Ritzer was a native of Jersey City, N.J. He was past president of the Air Force Sergeants Association, lifetime member of the Retired Enlisted Association and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Mr. Ritzer served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Elaine W. Ritzer, Ocala; daughters, Kim Moore, Ocala and Jill Mullins, Dunnellon; brother, Henry Ritzer, South Deerfield, Mass.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to Munroe Regional Medical Center Building Fund, the Kidney Foundation or Hospice of Marion County. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, provided information.
