West Point - William C. "Billy" Pyle, 75, died April 13 at Dugan Memorial Home. Following cremation, there will be no funeral services. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Pyle was born Dec. 5, 1932, in Memphis, TN, to the late Lurah Rubena Holman & Calvin Hyatt Pyle, Sr. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving as a Captain and Fighter Pilot from 1955-1963, and was a land developer and a Methodist.
He was predeceased by a brother, Calvin Pyle, Jr.; and sister, Jane Pyle Pope. He is survived by four sons, Stephen L. Pyle of West Point, Scott Morgan Pyle of Greenwood, Shawn Hyatt Pyle & Shannon Calvin Pyle, both of Ocean Springs; and grandchildren, Chelsea J. Pyle, McKenna J. Pyle, Hyatt J. Pyle, Brennon J. Pyle, Hunter H. Pyle, Cali M. Pyle, & Hannah E. Pyle.
