The body of a retired Air Force technical sergeant was found in his apartment at 3252-B Turtle Point Drive in Village Gates Apartments late Wednesday morning about 11 a.m. Fayetteville police reported the body of 74-year-old Allie Pope was lying on a bed in his apartment.
