Spokane - Jump W. Myers died May 23, 1992 in his home in Spokane. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 51, the DAV No. 45, the F-86 Association, and the P-38 Association.
He flew 339 missions in Vietnam, and flew P-38's in 81 missions in the Pacific during World War ll. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Gay Gilroy, Blythe Myers, and Terry Jean Wilson, all of Spokane; two sons, Roger Myers of Maui, Hawaii, and Gary Myers of Tacoma; a sister, Pat Miller of Los Angeles; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were on Wednesday, May 27, 1992, at the Sunset Mausoleum Chapel at the Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery, where interment followed. The Riplinger Funeral Home of Spokane was is charge of the arrangements.
