Virgil Minor Jr., 60, of Memphis, attorney, died of cancer Tuesday at his home. He was a Vietnam War veteran and a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church.
Mr. Minor, the husband of Jane Miller Minor, also leaves three daughters, Jennifer Barger of Memphis, Leanne Faris of Bel Air, Md., and Nancy Baltz of Pocahontas, Ark.; his mother, Pauline Fitzgerald, and a brother, Tom Minor, both of Memphis, and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial at 11 a.m. Monday in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to Crossroads United Methodist Church.
