HARLAN -- Mack Mahan, 60, of Caywood, a former technical sergeant in the Air Force and husband of Valdean Mahan, died yesterday at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital, apparently of a heart attack.

Services 1 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church, Caywood. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rich Funeral Home.
