LAGRANGE -- Nathan Burns Jenkins, 77, of 215 Martin Luther King Drive, died at his home. Mr. Jenkins was a native of Hampton, Va. where he attended the public schools and later attended Hampton University. He later made LaGrange his home. He served and retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Standard Lodge #206 of LaGrange.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, with Bishop W. H. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at LaGrange Cemetery, LaGrange.
He is survived by a sister, Mable J. Clark of Hampton, Va.; sisters-in-law, Pearletta Shaw of Greensboro, Nora Shaw of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will receive visitors and friends at the residence of Vivian Cummings, 305 N. Charles St., LaGrange.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 3 p.m. at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange with Bishop W. H. Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange. Mr. Jenkins was a native of Hampton, Va., where he attended the public schools and later attended Hampton University. He later made LaGrange his home.
