Leonard P. Gentile, 65, died Sunday in a Las Vegas care center.

He was born April 15, 1933, in Louisville, Ky. A retired Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he was a special projects employee for EG&G, and an 18-year resident of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Saithong of Las Vegas; daughter, Donna Marie of West Haven, Utah; sons, Leonard Jr. of Bardstown, Ky., Tim of Greensboro, Ohio, Michael of The Azors, Portugal, Thana, John, and Anthony, all of Las Vegas; mother, Madeline of Mobile, Ala.; brother, Anthony of Charlestown, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary-Jones where services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.
