FRALIX, MR. RALPH RICHARD - 72, of 1636 Evamar Court passed away, May 9, 2008 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Mr. Fralix was born in Mascot, TN and was the son of Laura Carathers Fralix of Dandridge, TN and the late Burl W. Fralix. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and retired after 20 years in the U. S. Air Force. He also retired from Duke Power Company, Catawba Nuclear Station as an I&E Supervisor. Mr. Fralix was a member of the Duke Power Company Retirement Club.
In addition to his father, Mr. Fralix is preceded in death by his grandchild, Charlene Thompkins and his great-grandchild, Hunter Benton. In addition to his mother, Mr. Fralix is survived by his wife, Margaret Howell Fralix; his daughters, Karen Allred and husband, Dean of Burlington, NC, Sharon Faulkenberry and husband, Bill of Rock Hill, Kathy Thompkins and husband, Charley of Hemingway, SC, Sandra Miller and husband, Thomas of Jonesborough, TN, and Lisa Jones and husband, David of Rock Hill; his sisters, Eileen Fralix and Elaine Fralix, both of Dandridge, TN; his grandchildren, Carmen Benton, Megan Simpson, Matthew Simpson, Amanda Faulkenberry, Ashley Faulkenberry, Savannah Jones, and Cody Jones; and his great-grandchildren, Morgan Simpson and Hannah Benton.
Services for Mr. Fralix will be 1:00 PM, Monday, May 12, 2008 at First Baptist Church, Dave Lyle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC with Revs. Steve Hogg, Charlie Lucas and Thomas Miller officiating. Burial will be Grandview Memorial Park - Hollis Lake Road with full military honors presented by the U. S. Air Force.
The family will receive friends 6:30 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC and other times at the home.
