EDENS, Joe Allen, 65, of Tullahoma, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 1994, at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Virginia, he was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 30 years of service including World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Beulah McClellan Edens. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Conley Edens, Tullahoma; two daughters, Diana Lynn Parfitt, Annapolis, Md., and Anna Mae Foster, Normandy; one son, Charles E. Edens, Normandy; one sister, Wanda Liedig, Jonesboro, Tenn.; two brothers, George Edens, Dayton, Ohio, and Elbert Edens Jr.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, Dec. 16, 1994, at Tullahoma Funeral Home where services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, with Tony Buchanan officating. Burial will be in Winchester Memorial Park. Tullahoma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
