Cecil Harold Dennison, age 78, of High Street, Wellsburg, died on January 14, 2006 at the Weirton Hospital in Weirton.
He was retired from U.S. Air Force and Follansbee Steel. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of VFW 4496 of Wellsburg, American Legion Post 34, Wellsburg Moose, and the Wellsburg Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Heater Jackson Dennison, whom he married on September 7, 1973; one son, Guy Jackson Jr., and wife, Lori and granddaughters, Rachelle and Danielle of Wellsburg and great granddaughter, Emma; one daughter, Teresa and husband, Keith Petteway, granddaughter, TaLana, grandsons, Kevin, Brian, and Thomas of Clemmons, NC; grandsons, Robert and Michael Dennison of OH. One niece, and several nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Orvia Dennison and Tressie Pritt Dennison; one son, Robert Dennison who passed away in 1983; one brother, John V. Dennison and three sisters Barbara McBroom, Lena Pribish and Judith Dennison.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 1 p.m., at the Reasner Funeral Home in Wellsburg. Burial followed in the Highland Hills Memorial Gardens (Park), in Follansbee.
