Charles C. Darnell passed away September 13, 2004. He is survived by his wife Beverly; five stepchildren, David, Stuart, and Forrest Lewis, Mary Kay Cantrell, and Amy Lewis; eight grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Darnell; and two sisters, Alice Weaver and Doris Parnell. He was retired from Preston Trucking Company after 29 years of service. Memorial services will be held Monday, September 20, 11 a.m., at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery Chapel.
