We didn't find Roy ... he found us. Roy was among the 200+ still missing airmen of the 482nd. He has been most helpful ... sending photos, copies of orders, memories, and photo IDs. The shot above left was taken right after he was assigned to Goose Bay in 1964 and the companion photo taken in 2003, where he's showing a carved robin.
Roy comes from a 482nd time period where more than a few names are missing from our pages. With his help (and Eddie Pittman's), I have added Arthur E. Suydam and identified WHICH James Martin was the one who drown. Likewise, Roy remembers 1st Sgt Botta and Airman Tommy Dover ... and photo identified T/Sgt Moynihan; none of whom I have any other record of, whatsoever. Thanks Roy.
