"When I first came to the 482nd, I was clerk in the Airborne Electronics
building and worked for Capt. Charles Stewart. He took me up in one of
the T-33s a couple of times. I loved it.
"After a year or so, I moved to Maintenance Control. Major Winkler was
the OIC at the time. Later he was replaced by Major Auty Blanton." Roger
