"Leo G. Lewis, from Demopolis, Alabama, was my roommate (and a good one) from March of '62 until he left in the summer/fall of '64. Leo is threatening to break off Don's offending thumb for some just cause. I can't remember Don's last name but do recall that he was from Mississippi."
"Leo was a little different, but one of the really good guys and memories of Leo always bring a smile. Leo never gambled, but he'd come to the games and watch me. One time, in a game of 'jacks or better---trips to win,' I opened with a pair of queens and drew another pair of queens. Leo had to leave the room so he wouldn't give it away. It had been several hands since anyone had won and another guy had 4 jacks the same hand. Needless to say, I cleaned up that time. (A relatively rare occurrence.)" Mac
