A/2C Harold B. Inda


On the back of this photo, in my handwriting, it says:

"Slick Inda - Dec 19, '58."
I well remember Harold, who roomed with A/2C Richard Carlson, but I would have sworn in a court of law that I had never heard the nickname. [We called Elam "Slick."]

I'm sure we were all gathering together over the upcoming Andrews AFB 30-day TDY and delighted that those of us who could not go home for Christmas were the only ones available to be sent to Washington, DC. We didn't win many but we won this one.
