January 1959. And a cold, windy day it was. We were part of the TDY detachment to Andrews AFB and took the opportunity to see the National Art Museum (background). Mike had this neat jeep that didn't have a key ignition but used a sequence of toggle switches. I borrowed it once when we were at Oceana NAS and forgot the combination in Norfolk. Took me a while.

Bill Gilliam (who re-upped) says that he ran into Hoehne (right) in California while attending school in the early sixties and that Mike was out there applying for a job as a Tech Rep.
