I have a real memory problem with this photograph. I don't remember the sign being here...and I damn sure don't remember that darling picket fence. And the barracks I lived in, had stairs on the east side, not the west...this may be what we knew as the NCO barracks. [They were big on darling picket fences.] This sure looks like the 1957 Squadron area sign...or a smaller duplicate of it...does anyone know? Robbie says he took this snapshot when he left in late February of '60...I left early January '60...thats a narrow window, but possible, as the fence appears awfully bright. GCW
